I was overjoyed when Angela emailed me. She wanted a couple shoot done before her husband left Cape Town again, it would be months until they saw each other next… My heart dropped just thinking about being away from my family for that long & I immediately knew this was going to be a very special shoot… We decided on D’aria Wine farm for a romantic forest feel. This is what she had to say when I asked why she wanted me to photograph their love.

” Denver works in JHB doing paint less dent removal on all the cars damaged by the hail storms up there. Sometimes he has to go overseas too and all these trips are a few months at a time. Its hard for us being apart and raising a young family. We wanted to do the shoot because we miss each other so much during our time apart and we just wanted to have memories of how happy we are when we’re together. Our love has grown stronger as does our appreciation of each other and the sacrifices we are making for our family”.
